A Mass was celebrated today at the Cathedral of Tunis before repatriating the body of Father Marek Rybinsky
Although the day was not so calm it to Tunis, and despite the rain, many came today in the cathedral to pray with the family of Father Marek and the Salesian congregation in which he was ordained priest in 2005.
Mass was presided by Bishop Maroun Lahham and concelebrated by several priests. The Ambassador of Poland was, with his wife, always beside the father and sister of the deceased.

Christine Sehnaoui (Lebanon, saxophone), Andrea Neumann (Germany, prepared piano frame) and Bonnie Jones (U.S., electronic) are among the most prominent musicians of improvisation today. By weaving acoustic and electronic sounds, they develop a vibrant music in any tensions and surprises. Multiplying each of the collaborations around the world, their meeting at the New Year will be a green rare opportunity to see them play together.

Evening contrasts because we will also Stranded Horse, whose real name Yann Tambour. The latter abandoned the stormy electricity of its project to devote ink to the practice of the Kora, the African string instrument. His two albums of folk bright impregnated Malian blues evoke the great outdoors. A good opportunity to get out of the melancholy winter.

. I love the pictorial photography of Edward Steichen (1879-1963), especially his photographs of Balzac by Rodin in the garden of the sculptor in Meudon in 1908 (the first two above). Among many other intriguing works, the undergrowth almost abstract (third in 1899) and the portrait of the composer Richard Strauss (the last in 1904) are chilling, but it's good. Father Marek Rybinski, a Salesian aged 34, was found Friday in the hangar of a private school where he was thrifty. Attributed to extremists, this murder was roundly condemned, including by the main Tunisian Islamist Nahda movement.
